I aim to create an inclusive, affirming, and empowering space where clients can navigate their unique journeys, build resilience, and foster a deeper connection with themselves and the world around them.

Therapy has been a huge part of my own growth, and I draw from my experiences on the other side of the couch to guide my work. I understand how transformative a supportive therapeutic relationship can be, and I also know what it’s like when things don’t quite click (yep, I once had a therapist fall asleep during my session). My goal is to create a space where clients can be their true, messy, fully human selves.

I’m especially passionate about working with people navigating OCD and eating disorders. Having been misdiagnosed as just an “anxious kid” until my 20s, I’m dedicated to breaking down misconceptions about OCD and supporting individuals on their recovery journey. OCD, like many mental health issues, can be isolating and misunderstood. The same goes for eating disorders—there’s no one “look” or set of symptoms, and my goal is to provide validation and support to those who may have struggled to seek treatment due to not feeling “sick enough.” Recovery is possible, and everyone deserves it.

My experience includes working with clients navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, complex family dynamics, relationships, and donor conception topics. I utilize various therapeutic approaches—Psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, person-centered, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and art-based interventions—tailored to each individual’s needs. As part of the LGBTQ+ community, I bring a queer perspective to my practice and am committed to understanding the unique experiences within the community. With a social work background, I’m always mindful of how various environments—family, society, and the world at large—shape experiences, aiming to create a space where all aspects of identity are welcomed and supported.

With empathy, authenticity, and a down-to-earth approach, I aim to create an inclusive, affirming, and empowering space where clients can navigate their unique journeys, build resilience, and foster a deeper connection with themselves and the world around them.

I Work With: Adults, Teens, Couples & Families

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, Master’s Degree in Social Work from Widener University, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified in Perinatal Mental Health (P-MHC)

Trainings & Certifications: Certified in Psychodynamic Theory, EMDR Level 1 & 2, Perinatal Mental Health Certified from Postpartum Stress Center, Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples

My passion for perinatal mental health stems from my own experience having postpartum depression after having my first child. While there is so much excitement around expanding your family, there also can be lots of struggles. Whether you are deciding if you want kids, struggling with infertility, dealing with perinatal or postpartum mental health issues or the daily complexities of being a parent, I would be honored to support you. I also understand the importance of couples postpartum and am passionate about supporting them in rebuilding their connection and sexual connection again after a baby.

I have received specialized advanced training in perinatal mental health care from Perinatal Stress Centerl, and I am committed to providing compassionate and effective support to individuals and families during this sensitive and often overwhelming time. I work with individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, perinatal mental health, and mood disorders. I have a special interest in working with parents. I use modalities such as Psychodynamic, EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). For couples work, I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

I create a safe, warm and nonjudgmental space to help guide and challenge you to find your own inner strength and self-compassion. Together, we will collaborate to explore the ways life has become difficult and learn how to utilize your strengths to reduce your symptoms and start living the life you deserve. Life, especially as a parent, never stops being challenging, but we can learn to ride the wave and take care of ourselves.
